We Are Expanding To Harrisburg, PA!
Four short years ago, we started as an idea for a program that would help to keep young men in York out of prison! Since then, our nonprofit has grown tremendously in a short period of time. We’ve not only increased the number of young men we serve each year, we’ve also added a female component to our mentorship program. We have also added an adult course, hosted numerous community events, and led various volunteer efforts!
This year, starting July 2024, we are expanding our services to Harrisburg, PA. This expansion is in partnership with Garry Gilliam Jr and The Bridge, as we add on a HARRISBURG MENTORSHIP PROGRAM!!! Harrisburg has similar needs that York has, but more importantly, this is an opportunity to enlarge our territory and make an even bigger impact!
Sign ups for the Harrisburg mentorship program are underway and we are excited to branch out to this new territory! We are currently accepting males aged 7-17 and plan to kick things off in July.
Our location may have expanded, however our goals are the same; EXPOSURE, MENTORSHIP, and a LIFE PLAN! We thank you all in advance for your support.

Our 2024 Celebration Gala Is Almost Here
Join Us On August 11th!
We are excited to be hosting our annual gala as we celebrate 4 years of Giving an Advantage. Our celebration gala marks the beginning of another year in operations for our nonprofit. It is important for us to acknowledge our growth and the impact we continue to have on the youth and their families in our community. Our event will be held at the Box Hill Mansion and will include a silent auction, DJ, 360 Photo Booth, Heavy butlered hors d'oeuvres, and a cash bar.
